As part of its campus wide sustainability intitiative, New York University (“NYU”) was looking to upgrade the lighting in its Frederick Loewe Theatre. The incandescent house lights were costly in both energy consumption as well as maintenance. As with most theaters and performing art venues, the theater has an existing dimming system and an upgrade to LED required a product that would satisfy the dimming criteria required in theaters. The LumenOptix 10″ down light was the answer and NYU is enjoying nearly 80% energy reduction while essentially eliminating maintenance.

Amtrak is using the LRD to upgrade the lighting at its transportation centers

The State of Tennessee has selected LumenOptix to retrofit it’s William R. Snodgrass Tennessee Towers with our LED Retrofit Downlight (LRD).

Grand Canyon University, Phoenix AZ has chosen LumenOptix to retrofit it’s downlights with the LED Retrofit Downlight (LRD)

Founded in 1949, Grand Canyon University wanted to replace existing outdated and poor performing downlights in their expansive facilities. With our LRD the light output was dramatically improved while the cost of future maintenance eliminated saving them a lot of expense.
